Appointments with the GP or practice nurse can be booked up to six weeks in advance (subject to availability). Some appointments are only bookable on the day and are designed for emergencies and the more urgent cases. Patients requesting same day appointments should contact the surgery before 10.00am. Telephone bookings for appointments on the day will be available from 8.00am.

From April 2017 The Practice will open from 8am through until 6.30pm  Please ask at reception or telephone to book appointments.

Appointments can be made in person at reception, over the internet (registration required) or by telephoning the practice on our new landline telephone number 0161 241 8039. To register for internet appointments please call into the surgery for a letter which will allocate you a number to logon using your own internet details and your own password  however to ensure this is secure please bring in some photo ID to the practice only the person applying for registration can bring the details in.

If you are unable to attend or no longer require a booked appointment, please cancel the appointment so that it can be offered to another patient.

Telephone consultations

You can also book to have a telephone consultation with a doctor each morning. He or she will ring you any time therefore please have your mobile with you at all times or be near your phone we will call you on the telephone number you have given. Please update the practice with any telephone changes. (Please note this service is not yet available to patients booking via the internet).


We will ensure that patients are offered a chaperone for all intimate examinations. Where a chaperone is unavailable, a patient may be asked to return at a clinically appropriate time. We accept that patients may also request a friend or relative to accompany them at these times. Patients may request a staff chaperone from the clinician they see or a member of staff at the surgery.
